Fact is, we did a tremendous amount of firefighting, hassling with wonky provisioning systems, and troubleshooting enterprise switch blades that has a disheartening high amount of failures under very heavy loads. We also had the daily struggle to maintain free disk space, an adequate supply of inodes and frequent mail loops that filled the queues on our mail servers to the brim.
